CNCFCA provides child welfare and family enhancement prevention services in MCN and Grand Rapids.
N-12 students from MCN attend the Grand Rapids School which is managed by Frontier School Division in the Town of Grand Rapids.
MCNHA provides health promotion programming and medical transportation services for MCN members. HeadStart, daycare and Jordan's Principle programs are run through the Health Authority.

Policing and law enforcement is carried out by the RCMP.
An MCN-owned grocery store operating since 2011.
An MCN-owned internet service provider for business and residential customers.
An MCN-owned highway rest stop including Pelican Landing gas bar and convenience store, Pelican Nest restaurant, and Pelican Club VLT lounge.
Local branch of the Median is located at the MCN Administration building, west side entrance.
